Galaxy S7’s camera quality will be much better than the Galaxy S6.
As dual photodiode is applied to the camera, the pixel size is larger, and the number of pixels is reduced.
However, previous Galaxy S6’s camera supports 5312 X 2988 of 16:9 ratio with 16M pixels and Galaxy S7 supports 4032 X 3024 of 4:3 ratio with 12M pixels.
What is the better point of Galaxy S7 camera than the previous device?
Because the pixel area to receive light is widened, and more light lens of F1.7 is applied. It reduces noise and can take a picture with vibrant colours. With a faster shutter speed even in low-light environments too, you can shoot high-quality images.
Using both the two photodiodes of each pixel, Galaxy S7 grasps the focus quickly like the human eye, and you can take pictures more clearly without blurring. And, by Selfie flash effect which uses AMOLED display as a front flash, it is possible to make clear selfie shots even in a low-light environment and Galaxy S7 support spotlight selfie function which can give the highlight effect only on the desired area.
A photodiode is a semiconductor diode which, when exposed to light, generates a potential difference or changes its electrical resistance.
